RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Acts as a customer and supplier liaison for all quality issues; inlcuding the Mexican facility.  Travels to the Mexican facility as well to the customer as needed.  (Passport Required)
  • Investigate and resolve internal and customer concerns using customer approved formats.
  • Administer and monitor the corrective action process to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of the quality system on a regular basis to maintain system integrity.
  • Develop, lead and implement TS16949 accreditation, policies and procedures,
  • Develop, implement and update control plans for new or existing products and obtain customer approvals when required,
  • Maintain and report internal customer performance indicators and generate reports with corrective actions as required on a timely basis,
  • Coordination and completion of customer sample approvals

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • More than 2 years of quality system development and improvement experience (preferable automotive)
  • Knowledge of TS 16949 quality systems and procedures
  • Strong probelm solving skills using advance statistical techniques
  • Knowledge of SPC/DOE/QFD
  • Knowledge of PPAP
  • Knowledge of Capabilities Indices
  • Knowledge of Control Plans
  • Knowledge of FMEA's
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
