The Logistics Planner is responsible for providing on-time customer deliveries, coordinating flow and inventory of parts and product to meet the needs of sales and production, scheduling and coordinating material requirements, both component and finished goods levels to expedite production for on time delivery to the customer.

· Interacts with Customers on a daily basis in order to determine requirements and ensure customer release schedule is accurate and customer demands are met.
· Processes all customer releases via electronic data interchange/manually.
· Develop master shipping plan based on customer requirements to establish sequence and lead-time of each operation to meet shipping dates for on time delivery.
- Maintain and monitor MRP requirements on a supply base level according to lead times which correspond with each MPR requirement. Use of customer portals as required.
- Evaluate component level inventory to establish efficient and effective scheduling of materials
· Tracks progress and reviews all factors that affect the customer demand (material shortages, late deliveries, fluctuations in demand, production downtime, etc.).
· Work with customer releases to determine requirements and initiates all shipments.
· Matches customer cumulative with shipping cumulative to ensure targets are met.
· Execute and maintain "First in, first out" procedures.
· Verify inventory levels and cycle counts as scheduled daily/weekly/monthly.
· Knowledge of customer expectation regarding containerization (correct part labels and quantity, standard packs, height and weight of pallets etc.)
· Create shippers/BOL/Customs paperwork and verify accuracy.
· Assist in Physical Count of all inventory.
· Maintain and verify integrity of MRP system and inventory
· Be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner, including daily "checklist" for forklift truck safety. (certified)
· Participates actively in maintaining ISO/TS 16949 certification.
· Completes any other assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned.

· 3 to 5 years related experience,
· Computer literacy (including XPPS, Excel, Word)
· Reading, writing, listening and communication skills,
· Lift Truck driver license and related safety course(s) preferred but not a must.
· Knowledge of warehouse documentation and procedures.
· Capable of working effectively as a team member and capable of giving and taking instructions
· Strong organizational skills
